Team Building

In the first week of school Tui whanau participated in a few different team building activities. The purpose of this was to work together and to get to know each other better. We had to get together in a group of 4 - 6 students and this was our group for all of the challenges.

The challenges we participated in was:
- Spaghetti and marshmellow towers
- Water balloon throw
- building a cup tower without our hands

Here are some screenshots of what the challenge was in more detail:

Here are some pictures of our towers that we were very proud of and had fun making!!

What team building challenges have you done before?

  1. talfo tui whanau,
My name is Leilah and I am a student in Room Hauraki at Waikowhai Primary School.
I really enjoyed reading your learning about your fun activities about the water balloons. Something specific I really enjoyed was the marshmallow tower because it made me think of a time when we did it and the marshmallow were squishy. Maybe you could change that instead of using no hands you can use your hands but use no thumbs for cup pyramids. I really liked your sharing, blog you later your blog is really cool nice to meet your class

  2. Kia ora Tui Whanau,
My name is Rael and I am a student in Hauraki at Waikowhai Primary school.
I really enjoyed reading your learning about Team Building.
Thanks for sharing your learning about your activities, I really liked how creative the games were.
Something specific I really enjoyed was the marshmallow towers with spaghetti sticks. It made me think about the time we did that but with toothpicks. I especially liked the part about having to pass a water balloon, as it showed.
Have you thought about changing the activities so it could be related to Sea week? Something you could do differently is put other photos of the different activities down.
I really liked your sharing, blog you later.
